About the 2025 Annual SEER Symposium

Following the success of 2024 Annual SEER Symposium, we are excited to welcome members, presenters and attendees back for our flagship 2025 event.

This year’s theme, Location and Education: Navigating Regional Disparities in Accessing Higher Education, shines a spotlight on how place, geography, and identity influence access, participation, and student outcomes.

The 2025 SEER Symposium will explore how small and specialist institutions can contribute to addressing regional inequalities and champion locally responsive, inclusive approaches to higher education.

Keynote Speaker

Dr Sally Andrews Evaluation Manager at Office for Students

Dr Sally Andrews will open the Symposium with a thought-provoking keynote titled One size *doesn't* fit all: finding the right tool for the job for small, specialist, and new providers. In her talk, Dr Andrews will explore the unique challenges and opportunities for effective evaluation, and present the vision of the Office for Students for supporting a thriving, diverse higher-education sector.
